In addition to my board certification in internal medicine, I hold additional qualifications in diabetology and nutritional medicine (LÄK). I am also certified in obesity medicine (DAG-DDG) and in hypertension (DHL). The practice is a recognised specialized diabetes practice and, since October 2026, a certified Specialized Nutritional Medicine Practice (BDEM). Treatment in my practice is consistently based on current S3 guidelines from professional societies.
Our focus: diabetes and metabolism
We provide full primary care. Our focus is on internal medicine conditions of the metabolism: diabetes, overweight and the metabolic syndrome with high blood pressure, fatty liver and lipid disorders.

Comprehensive diagnosis and individualized treatment planning for type 2 diabetes with modern sensor and therapeutic methods.
Obesity Therapy
Weight reduction according to S3 guideline: BIA measurement, laboratory screening, nutritional counseling and, if needed, GLP-1 therapy.
Sleep Diagnostics & CPAP
Outpatient polygraphy, mobile polysomnography, CPAP initiation at home (for mild to moderate sleep apnea) and CPAP follow-up, all from one source.
Nutritional Medicine
Nutritional counseling based on BIA measurement and laboratory values, not by template, but based on what your metabolism actually shows.
BIA Measurement
The scale shows a weight. BIA shows what it consists of: muscle, fat, water.
IGeLLiver Diagnostics
Liver fat measurement as an early marker of metabolic syndrome using quantitative ultrasound elastography.
24-Hour ECG & Blood Pressure

For inpatient polysomnography and CPAP initiation in severe sleep apnea, we work closely with the Sleep Center in Halle. Findings flow directly into our treatment planning, and follow-up takes place with us again.
